The picnic area is located 1 mile into the park off the Main Park Road near the campground and amphitheater. The most popular hike is the Tower Trail- a 1.3 mile paved hiked that starts at the Visitor Center parking lot. ![]() Where can I hike? Devils Tower has several hiking trails. Visitors may refill reusable containers with water at designated restrooms in the park. Is there food/water in the park? There is no food in the park. There are three designated parking areas for visitors: visitor center lot, picnic area lot, and Joyner Ridge trailhead. When visiting recreate responsibly and practice Leave No Trace Ethics. We recommend visiting during weekdays, early in the morning, or in the evening. Our busiest time of year is during the summer season from May to September. When is the best time to visit? The access point is located 9 miles south of Hulett, WY. How do I get to the monument? The park is accessible by a single road- WY Hwy 24. You may walk your pets in parking areas, along roadways, in picnic areas, and at the campground if they are secured on a leash no longer than 6 feet. They are restricted from being on trails or in buildings. There is a designated state historic marker 1.7 miles south of WY-110 (Main Park Road).Ĭan I bring my pet?
